Coffee, how I love thee
This is why I need a morning cup of coffee ….
Helps me keep up with this extremely bright eyed and perky morning person …

Whose latest lego creations have a “mad max” theme going on …

Excuse the dark images, hubby has a hard time using my unsophisticated camera ![]()
Happy Birthday to my lil Sister

Happy Birtday Chantelle. Hope you’re having fun with the rubber stamps. Thought you could use those now that you’re a school teacher. As you can tell I had a wee play around with them firsting making some stickers and die-cuts.
And then, there were three…
Lately, I’ve been peeing a lot on sticks. The first time I was pretty confident that I must have done it wrong:

But there’s no denying my second attempt a couple of days later:

Yep, I’m pregnant.
Xanthe wants a girl, Xavier want’s a boy. Their dad want’s twins gulp. I would just like it potty trained and sleeping through the night when it arrives. And, perhaps, just this once, it might come with a set of instructions?
Fingers crossed!
Car Mechanics
Just been for a drive in the car with our mechanic so he can diagnose what’s wrong with it.
I wanted to slap him around the ears and tell to stop driving with the palm of his hand or the pads of fingers.
I wanted to yell at him - ten and two and remember the 3 second rule as we drove round town riding the rear-end of every car in front, while his hands barely made contact with the steering wheel.
I wanted to yell chef Gordon Ramsey’s advise at him - grip it and run with it.
Thankfully we made it back to the workshop in once piece. Boys who love cars, aka bogans, never really grow up. Just these days they attend 40th birthday bashes and not 21st anymore, and they still drive with one hand on the wheel.
Anyway, as long as the car is sorted it’s all good. As we’re heading off to ski/snowboard at Wanaka this weekend.
