So sad …

Dance Studio Caught Fire

… this historic building which houses Xanthe’s dance studio for ballet, caught fire over the weekend. It’s 130 years old. Above the main entrance is the year 1879 - now they think it was arson.

PS: We were at a car wash place across the road, bathing our noodly doodly Labradoodle, who stunk (real bad). It was kinda a novelty washing the dog at the car wash (in the dog wash machine of course) … but I wouldn’t recommend it. He still stunk after. It was such an offense to our nostrils, that when we came home Aaron bathed him again, lol.

Oh my goodness, I thought it might have been that building when I saw the newspaper article.
    What a shame, so beautiful.
And whats happening about Xanthes dance classes?

Had a busy time with stanaways as Catherine left yesterday and Paul arrived Thursday(or was it Friday) and we went up to Waipu again and think we have found the land. More about that later.

Have photos from our vist which we wil put up tonight and I will send the kids a letter and try to make sure one comes every week.

I will call you later as well since I didnt on the weekend.

Hopefully get to say hello to the kids as well as the adults.

lots and lots of love and thanks for being so much fun at the airport, made the leaving easier.

HI Sweetie, hope your throat is better. I called last night and Aaron said you were out so thats a good sign.

How are the munchkins and the other half. Aaron sounded really good. We do miss interacting with you all, isnt’ it funny, no matter how far away we are things don’t change. Feels like your just around the corner, except we can’t see you often.

I am please Desarei is there and you have each other.

Hows school going for Xanthe and Kindy for Xavier. They are just such fun. Oh, have they got my letter yet. I am trying to do one a week, so I owe them another one for this week.

FORGOT: did you see Dancing with the Stars last night.
they had kids dancing, 8 year olds I kid, you not, and they were fantastic, better than the adults. I thought of Xavier and Xanthe. they were great. one of the boys played rugby and had only been doing the dancing for 1 1/2 years. Your dad and I couldn’t believe it. I hope you get Xavier into it as well, and Xanthe, he can do modern dance and still do rugby. I tell you the three boys in there, dancing with partners, were absolute chick magnets. I think thats the expression.
Hope you get to see it.
    love mum

OMG those little kiddos were awesome - but scarey, just a little too sexy for their ages, maybe I’m a fuddy duddy. Xavier’s funny and starts dancing away watching Xanthe at ballet, he’s sure get’s his groove on.

Anyway I’m fine … the raging raw throat’s gone and now it’s just sniffles and a sexy husky voice, lol. I’ve just been out a lot lately with kindy fundraisers. The night you rang we had a prenzel’s evening - didn’t realise they hand out so many alcholic beverages to sample, I started taking a wee sip and then tipping the rest down the sink. But umm, yummo, especially all the coffee flavoured ones.

Got something to say?
