Good day and a kiss to you, dear flowers.
From the book Muffin Mouse, she who embraces each day with such vigour. If reading this book early in the morning, make sure you’ve already consumed at least four cups of coffee, lol.
Will post photos later today of a couple of new things I’ve been working on. For now, here’s some pics from Tomahawk Beach on the weekend. Unfortunately this beach is closed for swimming, so is mainly used by people walking their dogs. It’s a fantastic spot, only a few minutes drive from home:
A wee bird (at first I thought it was a penguin, and no I was not wearing my glasses)…
I thought it had something wrong with it’s wing. So after taking a pic, send Aaron up to have a look (I think he was talking to it)…
And my troop just strolling down the beach looking for the right sand dune to play on…
Xavier is oblivious to anything but the sand and his spade. I also think he buried his sunhat too in the end, ah well…

Heehee, Rog and I have a penguin despute after he *saw one* on the beach one day on his way home from work…..yeah, right!1
Happy days! Now, need coffee
Ha ha, you might needs LOTSA COFFEE now that the books arrived at your house.
Hey cinty,
so you guys are getting some sun down there… i love that necklace in the above post, it’s so pretty, it’s a really gorgous colour too!. That pillow case is super cute too, how crafty! i’ve been trying to get back into sewing and making patterns lately, haven’t got too far, just traced a hoodie that i bought a coupla of years ago, altered it a bit then sewed one up- it’s a start. Please say a huge hello to xanthe and xavier for me (noel says hi too). ive been meaning to write them a letter like mum does but have been real busy with boring uni assingments. but now that im holiday im sure i can find some time to do that. Take care dudes, heaps and heaps of love XXOO, me.
Hey Chantelle. Hope you guys are well. Do you have internet access at home now? Hope you’re holidays are fun and refreshing. I’m looking forward to having Xanthe at home with me for the next two weeks. I still struggle with sending her off to school everyday to hang out with “daycare” raised kids, to spend the day in an “institution” environment. So I’m planning on having a fun arty crafty filled school holiday break with the kids, with a couple of trips to the movies thrown in as well.
