{I Made That} Just some stuff…

I’d had this design in mind for a while … a new necklace for my ChookMook Mummy Tag range. It’s not on my website yet. But I have been selling some of my new stuff on TradeMe.  At least until I get a change to overhaul my website.

Circle of LIfe, Circle of Love

I hand-stamped this one with the word BELIEVE thanks to the inspiration from a friend. It’s sterling silver that’s been hammered, floating on a hand-cut chain with a textured 14kt gold filled hoop.

I’ve also joined a craft group, hence how I managed to finish this I did as a swapsie for Hay. Please ignore the fact that my iron marked the wee mouse’s bottom. I am pretending I was aiming for a vintage feel (and it’s only like three months late) …

Mouse Applique Thingamee

And the back view is every little bit as interesting …

Today at craft group I carved a lino block that I’m actually not to embarrassed to share. Only problem is, the camera’s flat. So I’ll share that another day, along with some “delish” sparkles from Katie.

Oh, nearly forgot. I’ve also gone live with this website for Milton Jailbreak which I designed last year…

New Website Design - Milton Jailbreak

Very exciting for them, as race date is 18 May 2008. So just next month. If anyone’s interested in this awesome mountain biking event then check it out, or pass it on.

OMG! YOU rock. You are awesome. I LOVE IT! LOVE IT! I am wearing it, right now. Can’t even tell you how much I love it. And all the other goodies, you are amazing!! Miss Kyla is currently resting on that gorgy pillowcase…although it did bring some sad memories back :( She loved the book! And is making me plant the daffodils on top of Ashleys grave:) You are the bomb! xxxx

You are most welcome. I am glad you like the necklace. I am sorry it took so long for the pillowcase to arrive, and that the mouse has a “vintage” mark on it’s bottom. Take care.

How cute, I missed the beach pictures.

We have been so busy, we have the offer on the land at Waipu and put both properties on the market. To tell the truth I am knackered and this weekend we are off to do a 6 hour walk with the murphys, that will be interesting.

Is this the same beach that we went to?

Isnt it lovely that you are making things for others. they will last “forever” and people will be able to say “Jacinta made that for me or my mum or whatever” very sweet.

lots of love to you all mum - I must call you tonight and say hello. Its off to the optician tonight - yes I am getting old, need bi-focals, talk about busy.
    OH I forgot.

Do remember the “darn” 500 hats of Bartholemew Cubbins book? I am sure I read that a 1,000 times, I know I hid it at least once to get a break from it, well it turned up at home. How lovely, although I am really happy never to read it again. You loved it and then Joseph toook a liking to it. I must bring it next time and read to the munchkins.

    love mum

Yes I remember that book, loved it. Um, we took you guys to Long Beach. This one is just the next one along from St Kilda, and you get to it via Anderson’s Bay. So, only like 7 minutes from home, and still in the city.

checked out your web site, cint its Great.
Can you get more work doing that, or do you want to do more of that?
I think you have the problem of going more arty for a living or more technical, isnt’ funny to have both those bents.

Sent a card to the munchkins today, fast post so I hope they turn up tomorrow.

finsih at three today so will try you after you pick Xanthe up. I have to catch a southern train to try and miss some of the traffic heading out of the city this weekend to the V& races in Hamilton. we are going to coromandal, the tip of it actually to do a big walk. that will be interesting.

    lots of love sweetie.
    mum

Hey Mum. Hope your tramp/walk goes well. And yes, I really enjoy the web development stuff, and will certainly do more of it as it comes along. The jewellery keeps me pretty busy these days too, which is great! Time to upgrade the chookmook website to add all the new stuff.

I am hanging in there lol

    Hey love.

Chantelle said to me last night, “mum I missed the big ones as much as I miss the little ones, it sucks.” It dawned on my that we don’t always tell you that, we always make a fuss of the kids, but I thought its good that you all knew, we all miss the lot of you, the adults and the kids, we may not say it and Joseph and Rachel and Chantelle (don’t know about Noel, we don’t see him) may not leave comments but we all talk about you all a lot. Frequently the comment is, “I wish they were here for this or wouldnt …. like this”

So, love to you all, we all miss you all heaps, so take very good care of yourselves and hopefully in a few months we can come down and see you or get you up to us, actually that would be the best, then the entire family could see you rather than just asking about you.

    have a great day.

    lots of love mum.

p.s. walk went well other than the goat track in the middle, had to go up it, down it and then back again, that was hell, wished for a taxi about then, but the rest was great.

Hi love, checked out your flicker photos last night. They were great. Aaron is looking skinnier by the day too. The kids are like happy carrots, sprouting furiously.

We have been busy with cleaning and sorting this house for its first open home day on Saturday, still lots to do to.

I have barely touched the last things I have to do for Xaviers blanket but it won’t be much longer, by the weekend I should be able to get back into it.

Although as you say, you have the house lovey and warm. I should finish he cardy but my hands had just been real sore since I came back.
I have a trip to the doc organised as the joints are just swollen and sore all the time. Just putting it off really.

    but I will get there.

    Have a lovely day.
    love to all
    mum
