Snail Mail

Round here we love mail. I mean we really lurrrrrrrrrrve it … makes you feel very spesh when somethings arrives in the mail. Last week ninja Katie sent me some sparkles for my keyring. Red ones as well! Thanks Kate! And isn’t her handwriting just the grooviest?!

And with much gusto, my kids ripped into their latest fan mail from their Nana and Pospey, which had these awesome ANZAC day stamps

ANZAC Day Stamp

Talking about ANZAC day, Xanthe made a white cross at school for shared prayer, and dedicated it to her Popsey’s Daddy.

Our printer is working - yay so I can send photos again.

I am pleased that snail mail isn’t lost. Email is just not as much fun to kids. and tell me WHEN IN YOUR AMAZINGLY IT FOCUSED FAMILY, both mum and dad are IT geeks, ARE YOU GOING TO GET YOUR WEB CAMERA SET UP.

I know its a tricky job FOR THE UNDER 6′S but i think their parents can cope.

    Looking forward to it.

lots of love mun and dad, nana and popsey.

HI love, meant to say yesterday, - yes I am really with it at the moment, do you have photos of Grandad Stanaway? Do you remember him callling him self and or you Spider, I think it depended on if he had been drinking. Do you remember him swing you up and down and you hit the roof, luckily only slightly.

thankfully your dad and I are much younger so we get so much more time with our grandchildren. He was in his later 60’s when you were born and really left in a bad state by the war and the drinking didn’t help.

    He really was lovely though.

I have another letter on the way for the kids, I left it at home, but I will whip out and get the stamps and mail it tonight or in the morning.

love to you all and give Xanthe a special thank you for thinking of her great popsey. She really is a sweetie in that way. I think Xavier is too, hes so much like Joseph and Dad in that way, it wil come out in time.

    love mum

Looking forward to it, although it could be a bit much if this cold doesnt shift.

have a lovely long weekend and hopefully talk to you during the weekend.
