Measles …
… of the non contagious variety aka self induced.
Xanthe came down with this condition the other week. Gave me a helluva fright, when I checked on her on my way to bed. Had to call the hubby in, who took these photos:
I give you the following evidence. Exhibit A, ink on finger tips:

It’s a fairly serious condition that can spread to the hands:
Funny thing was, the next morning Xavier was checking her out with a weird look on his face, seriously studying his sister up and down, and round and round. Turns out she’d even decorated the soles of her feet. No photo of that though, so here’s another parting shot:

The girl is a serious grafitti artist. Nothing is safe. Reminds me of, um, well ME, lol. As a child I used to doodle on anything, mainly my name … so I was always found out. My one and only (at this stage) tattoo is on the top of my foot. Xanthe informed me about a year ago she’d get one there too when she grew up. You reap what you sow, lol.

It is fra-freezing down here. Minus 236 degrees last night. Just joking. It was only minus one this morning when we got up. The dog’s water bowel was frozen solid. Normally just the top freeze’s over. But don’t worry, he sleeps inside overnight.

Hows it going this week?
You really were terrible at writing on everything, or creating art on everything. A sign of things to come I think. But it was always lovely art. Did you know that Nana Stanaway kept her address\phone book that you drew all over when you were about 8? She updated lots of times after that, but she always kept the book. We have got it now as she kept it because of your art work.
Actually Nana headstone was chosen while Catherine was over here, I was sick so missed all the get togethers, but I expect to see it soon. Will be nice when thats done.
I think Xanthe is going to be just like her mum in that regards, which is great, shows great promise for the future.
How are the wee munchkins, we are looking for ward to October the17th.
Actually I must set my printer up with pc and print out some letter pages, I havent done that since we got back. Better do that tonight.

We are just chilling as usual, helping Aunty Donna put roses on her veranda, Uncle Paul wasnt so thrilled but I am sure she ill love it when it grows.
